At The Junkluggers of Northern New Jersey, we're dedicated to making Northern New Jersey a more eco-friendly and sustainable community. We're proud to partner with our network of local charities, and to work together to make New Jersey more environmentally-conscious, one piece of junk at a time!

We're also dedicated to our Company Mission: to enhance lives, our communities, and the environment by donating, repurposing, recycling, and supporting local charities.

Charity Partners:

Goodwill

Goodwill/Goodwill Industries has one simple mission - to put people back to work. Their Retail Services collect donated household goods and clothes to sell at affordable prices in their stores. The sales revenue provides funding for vocational funding as well as other services and programs Goodwill offers. Of every dollar the organization earns, 93 cents goes directly to these services and programs. They are continuously ranked among the top charities that make your donation go further.

Round2Resources

Similar to The Junkluggers, this non-profit organization strives to protect the environment. Round 2 Resources helps prevent usable materials from going to landfills by accepting all donations and redistributing them back to people and organizations in need right here in our community. When R2R receives donations, they are matched up against the Community Wish Lists. Once a match is made, the items are redistributed back into the community to the clients or organizations that request the items. Serving as a resource to other organizations and giving them the ability to help each other gives R2R the capability to help every type of charitable organization without discrimination. Round 2 Resources is not fighting to champion one cause - it is fighting for the world!

The Alliance Against Homelessness

This non-profit organization strives to help seriously and persistently mentally ill homeless people find shelter and rebuild their lives. Providing stable housing promotes recovery, wellness, and stability. Of all the people The Alliance Against Homelessness has helped, not one has returned to the streets or to an institutional setting. This is an incredible success record!

The Salvation Army

This organization has many facets, but we primarily work with The Salvation Army Family Stores. These stores are the core of The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center philosophy. The Junkluggers are proud to donate to their Hamden community store, which provides bargain prices for clothes, furniture, and other goods. The organization strives to employ rehabilitating adults in their Family Stores, which offer great deals on clothes, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, electronics, books, and much more.
